Inside the stack
Six boards, taken apart
Behind the art is a second piece of work: six circuit boards folded into one pedal-sized case. Turn the stack, pull it apart, and see where each part of the sound lives.
Getting around
Drag to turn the stack, and scroll or pinch to move closer. Play takes it apart and puts it back together; the slider stops it anywhere in between. Hover over a board, or its name in the list, to find it.
On a phone, drag with one finger and pinch to zoom. Board names appear once the stack opens up.
The six boards are drawn from their real design files. The switches, pots, adapter boards and trimmers are stand-ins, placed where they sit on the boards.

- The Drive of Malice is the heart: three clipping tiers in series on ±15 V, with twelve LEDs rounding every peak into a gentle knee, a two-step zener ladder and a fuzz you tune from inside. How to set it · Main board view and Revision C
- Aurora Curtain holds back the glare above. How to set it
- Stiward Thære Sæ, the compressor and gate, waits at the end of the chain and gathers everything into one even voice. How to set it · Rev 2 board map and presets
The Ćuk-Linear Dual Reactor stands on edge at the far end of the stack and powers all five.
